The City Is His Canvas

Bardia Moradi — The City Is His Canvas

For Bardia Moradi, color is a decision — a way to refuse becoming a robot. The city is his canvas, and every wall a place to make something that wasn't there before.

Biography The Painter

Bardia Moradi paints the way a city breathes — loud, layered, alive.

Working between canvas and wall, Bardia treats color as a refusal: a way to stay human in a world that asks you to become a machine. His work is restless, figurative, and unafraid of mess — each piece a record of a decision made in the moment.

In this MOMKEN film, we follow him into the studio and onto the street, where the line between the finished work and the act of making dissolves. We don't explain his world — we open the door, and let you step inside.
